The
caseworker team provides a single point of access to our services. This
means that you only need to make one call in order to access services
for yourself and your family.
The Caseworker team provides centralized Intake and Assessments for the following programs:
- Individual, Couple and Family Therapy
- Program for Domestic Violence
- Programs for Children Exposed to Woman Abuse (HEAL Network)
- Partner Assault Response (PAR)
- Adults who have Experienced Childhood Abuse
- Family Life Education Workshops and Seminars
Intake
and assessments are conducted in person (PAR, HEAL, Walk-In Clinic) or
on the telephone. These processes enable the Caseworkers:
- Refer you to the most appropriate internal programs and services
- Determine which external services and supports best meet your needs
- Provide you with the appropriate community information and referrals
- Provide interim support while you wait for a counsellor or group
- Follow up with you to ensure that your service needs are met
The Caseworkers also maintain contact with community partner agencies on an ongoing basis to
ensure that we remain aware of services and programs in the community that may be helpful to you.
If you are interested in any of our services or if you are not sure which service you may need,
please ask to speak to one of our caseworkers at: 905-450-1608 ext. 112.
